More About You: I love reading, researching, running marathons and playing with my two kids. I have an 8 year old girl and a 5 year old boy.

Your inspiration: My passion is teaching, but after ten years in a teaching career I sort of hit a creative brick wall. I got tired and needed something new to bring to the classroom. I needed some new inspiration. Now I'm really excited about introducing printmaking to my students.

With whom did you travel?: I traveled with my friend and art field mentor, Monica.

Highlights: There are truly so many highlights! I was inspired by everyone, even those who weren't professional artists. Everyone got so passionate about being creative and making art. The whole program is just a class act!

Would you recommend Artista to others? Oh my gosh yes! In fact, my best friend and her mom are signed up to come in a couple of months.

Where do you want to go for your next journey? I want to go back to Santa Fe because it is such an artist's haven. I'm also saving up to come back to Artista. Oh I'm also going to Las Olas Surf Safaris!
